2. Hosting and technical data

Hosting by IONOS

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur. When the site is accessed, the hosting provider processes technical data—including your IP address and access details—in server logs. This serves to ensure the website's availability, stability, and security.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring reliable and secure operation. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider; processing is carried out on our behalf. You can find information about the provider in the IONOS data protection information.

Encrypted connection

The website is provided via HTTPS. TLS encryption protects the data transmission between your browser and the website. Communication via standard email is separate from this and may entail security risks. We cannot guarantee complete, gap-free protection for all internet communication.

3. Cookies and technical settings

The Joomla system used and the cookie settings may store or read technical information on your device, for instance for a session or to manage your privacy preferences. Session-related information is generally used only for the duration of the session; persistent settings remain stored until deleted or until their scheduled expiration.

Access or storage that is strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested is governed by Section 25 (2) of the TDDDG. Where personal data is processed in this context, such processing is based on Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR for the purpose of ensuring technical and secure operation. For storage or access that is not strictly necessary, consent pursuant to Section 25 (1) of the TDDDG is generally required; any associated processing of personal data is governed by Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR.

You can allow, restrict, or delete cookies via your browser settings. If necessary cookies are blocked, some functions may be limited. You may revoke any consent you have given at any time, effective for the future.

4. Inquiries and print orders

When you contact us via email, telephone, or fax, we process the information you provide. This includes contact details, the content of your inquiry, and any print files. We use this information to handle your request, clarify any questions, and carry out the agreed-upon order.

If the inquiry relates to a contract or the preparation thereof, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We process other inquiries based on our legitimate interest in communication pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If separate consent is obtained, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR applies.

We store data for as long as it is required for the respective purpose. Afterward, it is deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other legally permissible reasons require continued storage. In the event of a withdrawal of consent or a legitimate request for deletion, we will assess which data can be deleted and which must be retained.

5. Links to maps and social networks

The website contains links to Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. The pages themselves do not directly embed their maps or social media plugins. When you open such a link, you leave our site. From that point on, the respective provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy; if you are logged into an account, your visit may be linked to that account.

The fonts used are provided locally.

6. Your rights under the GDPR

Information, correction, and deletion

Subject to legal requirements, you may request information regarding your personal data and its processing. You may also have incorrect data corrected. Requests for deletion are subject to legal conditions; mandatory data retention periods may prevent deletion.

Restriction of processing

You may request a restriction on processing under statutory conditions—for example, while disputed data is being verified, in cases of unlawful processing where you prefer restriction over deletion, for the establishment of legal claims, or while an objection is being reviewed. In principle, restricted data may only be processed with consent, for the assertion of legal claims, for the protection of other persons, or for reasons of public interest provided for by law, except for the purpose of storage.

Data portability

For data that we process automatically based on your consent or a contract, you may request—subject to statutory conditions—that the data be provided in a common, machine-readable format. Direct transfer to another controller will be carried out where technically feasible.

Revoke consent

You may revoke any consent you have given at any time, effective for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the revocation.

Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR

If processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR, you may object for reasons relating to your particular situation. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will no longer process the data in question unless there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is necessary for legal claims.

You may object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time, including any associated profiling. Once you object, the data in question will no longer be processed for direct marketing.

Complaint to a supervisory authority

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you suspect a violation of the GDPR. This can be done, in particular, with an authority at your habitual residence, your place of work, or the location of the alleged infringement. Other administrative or judicial remedies remain unaffected.
